2 Secure Cargo Systems Inc. was formed in November, 2005 to facilitate the manufacture and distribution of products designed to provide a paradigm change to the industries involved with the transportation of stacked cargo packages. 2Secure Cargo Systems Inc. has developed the revolutionary new Marvee™ ™ Securement System to deliver a solution to load securement, primarily focused on stacked loads. Marvee™ ™ provides a DIRECT METHOD of load securement and aligns with NATIONAL SAFETY CODE Standard 10-Cargo Securement Section 45 “Bundles restrained from lateral movement by blocking or high friction devices” and exceeds provisions of Section 5. The lateral component for load securement has the greatest influence on the loss of control and roll over of a truck transport. The Marvee™ ™ Securement System will provide: The only securement system that meets and exceeds the NSC Standard 10 Easy (visual) assessment of compliance Safer highways The system provides a method of X-tying a stacked load, utilizing the equipment that is now available on the truck transport trailers. Ratchet winches and straps that are presently utilized, remain a part of the system, but are configured in a unique way. Utilizes current practices. The straps that are presently applied to the second layer of a three layer load, will terminate with an appliance called the Marvee™ ™, which inserts into the delta ‘D’ ring of the load strap. This operation is completed at waist height and then as the strap is tightened from the opposite side of the load, the Marvee™ ™ travels up the side of the load and into its working position. No ladders or special tools are required. This configuration is installed from each side of the load, in sets.   The securement is applied from both sides of the load, where a sin gle strap is presently applied at the interface of the second and third layer, a second strap will be installed with a Marvee™ ™ appliance and secured. We estimate comparable loading time of a Semi and B-Train to present methods. Loads that are comprised of two layers, will require Marvee™ ™ application between layer one and two as well but the number required will vary for the three layer loads. Utilize a 4” load strap fitted with a ratchet tightener, which will engage the existing load hooks on the other side of the trailer. The ratchet strap can than be utilized for general load securement when not utilized for the Marvee™ ™ System. Quantity of straps required for the ™Marvee™ ™ System, are comparable to present usage. Fit portable winches to the alternate side of the trailer. Permanently install winches to the alternate side of the trailer as required.
